Hair removal precautions

General guidelines

Read the precautions on the package carefully before use.
Always perform a patch test before using a hair removal or hair bleach product.
Avoid use in the presence of cuts, swelling, or dermatitis. Wait until the skin has healed sufficiently before use.
To avoid the risk of contact with the eye, do not use hair bleach product on the eyebrows or eyelashes.

When not to use

Depilatory

  • ・In the presence of cuts, swelling, dermatitis, soreness, or other signs of inflammation on the arms, legs, and underarms
  • ・Before and after menstruation or childbirth, during illness and recovery, or in the presence of other irregular health conditions

Hair removal from the roots

  • ・In the presence of cuts, swelling, or skin disorder on the arms and legs
  • ・Before and after menstruation or childbirth, during illness and recovery, or in the presence of other irregular health conditions
  • ・In the presence of skin damage from suntan or sunburn; also avoid application one week before sunbathing, outdoor sports, or other activity involving sun exposure
  • ・If your skin is prone to rashes from application of adhesive bandages or is sensitive to physical stimulation
  • ・If you have developed hyperemia and the redness did not subside for 5-6 hours after use of an epilation product in the past

Epilatory

  • ・In the presence of cuts, swelling, or skin disorder on the arms and legs
  • ・During known or suspected pregnancy
  • ・Before and after menstruation or childbirth, during illness and recovery, or in the presence of other irregular health conditions
  • ・If you have had any kidney or blood disorder in the past (consult a physician)
